MRI Atlanta-Peachtree North is recruiting for a global leader in the Medical Device sector with an outstanding opportunity for a Director of Strategic Marketing. This company is on the leading edge of some very exciting technology with implantable medical devices. The product is used in cardiac interventional surgery and requires someone with experience in devices used within the OR or cath lab.


 


You will be a key player in the marketing function for one of the world’s fastest growing and best technology-driven medical device companies reporting directly to the VP of Marketing. This is a very high visibility position with access to the top-level managers in the corporation. The position carries significant rewards for performance and success in this role will certainly create a career path that includes promotions to the VP level.


 


As Director of Marketing you will have the opportunity to:


Manage the full lifecycle of implantable medical devices as well as related disposable and durable surgical tools
Lead cross-functional design teams for new product development
Collaborate with industry thought-leaders in developing concepts for new products
Interface directly with surgeons globally
Prepare budgets and strategic marketing plans
Perform market analysis studies to enable pricing and position optimization
Be rewarded for strong performance with promotional opportunities and financial compensation 

Skills/Qualifications:


For immediate consideration for this superb medical device marketing opportunity, you must have medical device marketing experience in addition to the following:


10+  years of medical device marketing experience at the Group Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Director, or other marketing role in a medical device company.

MS in Marketing or other supporting discipline with preference for advanced degrees.
A solid understanding of cardiology and the procedures that occur in the cardiac cath lab. Experience in the cath lab or OR during cardiac procedures is a big plus.
