Marketing Group Manager / Technical Sales
The Marketing Group Manager will be responsible for the global growth of company Technical Product sales, through the leadership of a team of Central Control Sales Specialists. The ideal candidate must be able to analyze market trends/opportunities and create, prioritize and execute strategies that capitalize on those opportunities assuring company gains market share. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are necessary to succeed in this position. The ideal candidate is expected to be proactive, customer- oriented, driven to succeed in a fast paced environment, possess strong self initiative and deliver extraordinary results. Key responsibilities: 1. Develop and successfully execute a sales plan that will achieve significant sales and market share growth in the Central Control category and the Pump category in select regions. 2. Recruit, train, manage and develop a sales staff that is viewed as the technical product expert within their assigned regions. 3. Implement corporate policies, ensure adherence to strategic guidelines and develop a succession plan for this sales team. 4. Justify and execute promotional programs intended to drive sales of the technical products, assuring market shares gains are achieved at the contractor level. 5. Work with your sales team to actively track and assure company is involved in all key/large Central Control projects globally. 6. Work in conjunction with the Sales Manager team to drive the development and implementation of the SBU Strategic Plans as they pertain to technical products. 7. Collaborate with SBU Marketing to ensure that the product line plans, marketing programs, launches and marketing materials meet the current and future needs of the end user customers. 8. Work with the Regional Manager Team to maintain a seamless and cohesive approach to the market, while achieving the sales goals for the technical products. 9. Prepare regular and special sales reports as assigned including bimonthly reports, strategic plans, market share analyses etc. 10. Assist in the development and marketing launch of key technical products. 11. Travel to various regions in support of sales efforts and industry events (Travel approximately 50% - 60%). Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 8+ years of marketing and/or sales experience. Stable job history, including promotions within organizations. Direct report management experience. Undergraduate degree with an emphasis on business or marketing. Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills. Strong analytical, financial management, MS Office and communication skills. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: MBA degree is highly desirable. Experience marketing and/or selling products through distribution. Bi-lingual " English and Spanish.
