Senior Manager of Marketing and Social Media

Boston Market is in search of Senior Manager of Marketing and Social Media.

Purpose of the position " Collaborate with the field leadership team to identify sales and/or traffic growth opportunities and develop a long-term strategic and short-term tactical local restaurant marketing (LRM) plan in each of Boston Market’s local trade areas to meet those needs. Develop, maintain and grow the voice for Boston Market on social media and online platforms that increase exposure to, and engagement with, the Boston Market brand with current guests and new audiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Collaborate with the field leadership team to identify sales and/or traffic growth opportunities and develop a long-term strategic and short-term tactical local restaurant marketing (LRM) plan in each of Boston Market’s local trade areas to meet those needs.
* Develop a LRM tool kit that will enable managers to build relationships with the guests in their local trade area and ultimately lead to increased guest awareness and loyalty.
* Create training curriculum on the LRM tool kit that will help educate and empower our managers to successfully utilize the tools and resources that marketing provides.
* Administer training on marketing initiatives to the area manager and restaurant levels as needed.
* Travel to local trade markets to help build relationships in the community and with restaurant managers/Area Managers as needed.
* Identify and formulate a list of priority stores to receive special attention. This includes but is not limited to, stores with down trending sales, stores with competitive openings around them, and other local marketing needs.
* Develop, maintain and grow the voice for Boston Market on social media and online platforms that increase exposure to, and engagement with, the Boston Market brand with current guests and new audiences.
* Monitor/track performance of social and online media programs
* Manage web site content, email messaging and digital campaigns
* Ensure consistent messaging for all mediums of “social” marketing that Boston Market utilizes.
* Work with agency partners on the implementation and analysis of online campaigns.

Job Qualifications

* 5-7 years experience in fast-paced marketing/production related field, restaurant or retail environments preferred.
* 1-2 years’ experience working with social media strategies and metrics
* Experience with managing social platforms, email marketing (utilizing such tools as Fishbowl, CRM database, Google Analytics)preferred
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent field preferred.
* Demonstrated success in creating and implementing Local Unit Marketing campaigns.
* Demonstrated success with creating and cultivating relationships with local unit operators.
* Strong written, editing, proofreading and oral communication skills; attention to detail with an ability to meet tight timelines while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Intermediate skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
* Proven knowledge of printing and other creative development and production processes.
* Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple/competing projects and assignments.
